The Liddle Kidz™ Foundation Infant Massage certification course is for those interested in becoming a Certified Infant Massage Teacher (CIMT). A CIMT is an educator who teaches the art of infant massage to parents or caregivers in the presence of their babies. Certification qualifies the student to demonstrate knowledge and skill in guiding parents and caregivers in the practical application of infant massage.

During the Certified Infant Massage Teacher Training you will learn about the history and global use of infant massage as a parenting practice, infant massage techniques and methodology, benefits for both infants and caregivers, current research and the importance of communication and attachment in building healthy emotional relationships. You will learn creative techniques for setting up and marketing successful infant massage classes, and how to best reach parents/caregivers.

We will also discuss working with babies born prematurely and infants with special healthcare needs.

You do not have to be a massage therapist or have any experience in the healthcare field to take this course. This is not a hands-on-baby course. Trainers, Teachers & Students use baby dolls to practice & demonstrate strokes.
