The art therapy program at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children just got a little bigger.

The Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation, a non profit dedicated to improving the lives of hospitalized teens, donated a mobile art cart to St. Mary's Monday.

They partnered with the popular art and crafts store AC Moore, to stock the cart full of various types art supplies.

It will be used to expand and offer more art therapy sessions to the hospital's long term residents.

"Anything that brings creativity, we believe is very therapeutic and helps with either their healing or the conditions they are in," said Foundation Exec. Director Gisele Dinatale.

This is the foundation's first donation to a New York based pediatric health care center.

A representative from AC Moore told staff that whenever supplies are running low to reached out and they will gladly restock.
