A group of “superheroes” made a trip to St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children in Bayside last Sunday.

As a special treat for some of the sickest kids in the city, area volunteers came dressed as Batman, Black Panther, Spider-Man and other comic book legends.

Josh Aryeh, a dedicated volunteer who dressed up as Batman, coordinated the event. The children also got to participate in arts and crafts, enjoy a magic show and dance to music from a DJ.

On the left, Anthony Rojas, 7, poses for a pic with Black Panther (well, actually Reynolds Kairus dressed up as the superhero).

Above at top, Spider-Man, Catwoman (played by Yessenia Gomez) and Black Panther pose with a sweet Lamborghini. And above at bottom sits a “Lambo” Batmobile.

Above, the superheroes assemble. The kids at St. Mary’s got to see Zain Ratansi dressed as Deadpool, left, Steven Floumanhaft as Robin, Danny Talassazan as the Phantom of the Opera, Catwoman, Aryeh as Batman, anonymous Spider-Man, Elena Ancuta as Wonder Woman, Bryan Salamone as another masked character on the floor, Caridad Liriano as Batgirl, Black Panther and Ivori Copes as Storm from X-Men.
