St. Mary’s Medical Services department is composed of Board Certified and fellowship-trained pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants who provide in-house coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Dr. Edwin F. Simpser
President & CEO
Dr. Simpser joined St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children as Chief Medical Officer in 1999 and is presently its President and Chief Executive Officer. Over the past 20 years, he has tirelessly devoted himself to advancing the organization’s mission of caring for children with special needs and their families.
Hilary Berlin, M.D.
Dr. Hilary Berlin is an Attending Physiatrist at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are in cerebral palsy, neurodevelopmental conditions, neuromuscular disorders, central nervous system cancer, and brain injury rehabilitation, robotics (Lokomat, Erigo, Trexo).
Prior to joining St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, she was the Division Chief of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Schneider Children’s Hospital and holds Academic and Clinical positions at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Berlin attended the Sackler School of Medicine and completed her combined residency, in Pediatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, at Schneider Children’s Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Berlin is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Audrey Berman, M.D.
Dr. Audrey Berman is an Attending Physician and Director of Admissions at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are palliative care and complex pediatric medicine.
Dr. Berman attended the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and completed her residency in Pediatrics at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Linda Volpe, M.D., M.A.
Dr. Linda Volpe is an Attending Physician and Director of Medical Education and Research at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are in medical education, pediatric complex medicine, spina bifida, complex neurologic issues, transitional care, and care of complex pediatric patients in low-income areas and diverse cultures.
Prior to joining St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, she was the Director of Special Medical Needs Division at Jacobi Medical Center. She served in academic and clinical positions at New York Medical College, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Einstein Medical School.
Dr. Volpe attended the Albany Medical College, Albany, New York, and completed her residency, in Pediatrics, at New York Hospital, Cornell, New York. She completed a fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics, with a special interest in Medical Education and Complex Care at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, New York.
Dr. Volpe is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Moshe Yadoo, M.D.
Dr. Moshe Yadoo is an Attending Physician at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. His areas of interest are in complex pediatric medicine and palliative care. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, he was in private practice.
Dr. Yadoo attended the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, and completed his residency, in Pediatrics, at Brookdale University Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. He completed a fellowship in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York.
Dr. Yadoo is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Marianne Mazza, P.A.-C., M.S.
Marianne Mazza is a Physician Assistant in the Medical Services Department, Liaison to ENT and GI physicians, and TPN specialist at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are in pediatric gastroenterology, particularly in the management of intestinal failure. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, Ms. Mazza worked in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Units at Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center and the Brooklyn Hospital Center, both in Brooklyn, New York.
Ms. Mazza attended Long Island University/Brooklyn Hospital Center and is certified as a Physician Assistant by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Jessica Berry, D.N.P., M.S.
Jessica Berry is a Nurse Practitioner in the Medical Services Department, Liaison to Pulmonary and Orthopedic consultants, and Wound care specialist at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are in pediatrics and wound care. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, Ms. Berry was a per diem staff nurse in the Pediatric Medical-Surgical unit at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, New York.
Ms. Berry attended Molloy College, Rockville Centre, New York, and is certified in New York as a Nurse Practitioner and Wound Specialist.
Tami Lambert, C.P.N.P.
Tami Lambert is a Nurse Practitioner in the Medical Services Department at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Her areas of interest are in pediatrics complex care. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, Ms. Lambert worked in private practice.
Ms. Lambert attended Columbia University, New York, New York, and is certified in New York as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
