St. Mary’s Hospital for Children’s First Annual Autumn Festival

On October 1st, families came together at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children for the first-ever Autumn Festival. The festival raised funds to support vital programs and services at St. Mary’s, the only provider of pediatric long-term and rehabilitative care.  St. Mary’s Autumn Festival featured family-friendly activities including pumpkin painting, Zumba, carnival games, face painting, arts and crafts and raffles. Local performers also came by to share their talents, including performers from Queens School of Sciences, as well as clowns and musicians.

“We’re so pleased so many kids and families were able to join us for our first Autumn Festival,” said Dr. Eddie Simpser, President and CEO of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children.  “Getting to celebrate the season at this festive event helped lift the spirits of our kids, and it was a great way to bring together our neighbors from the local community.  The proceeds from this day will help support the innovative pediatric healthcare programs happening at St. Mary’s.”

The first annual St. Mary’s Autumn Festival was made possible through the generosity of our sponsors and partners: The Falcone family, Joyce Grogan-Sullivan, Queens Garden Florist & Landscape, Ridgewood Savings Bank, TD Bank, James Verdisco, A&S Whitestone Nursery, Liola Restaurant, Nabisco, Panera Bread, Starbucks and The Dubliner.
