For the fourth consecutive year, the Friends of St. Mary’s Committee – a group of young professionals from the New York real estate, finance, construction, legal, and marketing industries – have successfully organized their seasonal event, Savor The Summer, to raise funds and awareness for children with special needs at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. The well-attended event held at Public House in New York City raised over $8,000 to support programs and services for children with medically complex conditions.
The event included a drawing, with a one-hour open bar gathering for 10 guests at Public House as the grand prize. Patrons also enjoyed bidding on silent auction items including wine baskets, tickets to top-performing Broadway shows and gift certificates.
The Friends of St. Mary’s Committee is dedicated to serving St. Mary’s mission of improving the health and quality of life for children and families with special healthcare needs. They accomplish this by hosting various fundraising and networking events where members can network, exchange ideas, and contribute to each other’s success. Special thanks to Sara Farkas, Karen Kwong and the rest of the committee for their unwavering dedication to St. Mary’s.
