Great Neck South High School Choir Bring Their Vocal Talents to St. Mary’s Hospital for Children to Entertain Patients & Families

The voices and instrumentals of the Great Neck South High School Choir carried throughout St. Mary’s Hospital for Children over the weekend, drawing the attention of St. Mary’s kids, staff, and families to listen to their talented melodies.

The young students of South High wanted to give back to patients of St. Mary’s and help create some unforgettable memories for them—and they did just that.

The Choir bellowed artistic renditions of favorite musical hits and the Band set the relaxing mood as St. Mary’s Kids of all ages listened in awe, and clapped for an encore.

Patients of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children are challenged with a wide array of disabilities due to serious illness, injury and complications of premature birth and welcome the opportunity to make new friends and participate in activities such as this.

The Great Neck community is a permanent footprint in St. Mary’s history as they have been supporting St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children for many years through fundraisers, special events and frequent visits to the hospital. Great Neck families and high school students continue to find new ways to engage St. Mary’s Kids and create extraordinary memories.
