Colleagues, Family Members, and Supporters Gathered to Send Happy Holiday Greetings to Patients & Families of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children
Lillian Bossio and the insurance and planning firm of Bossio, Ross & Associates gathered once again at Leonard’s of Great Neck to host a special annual holiday celebration to help raise funds and awareness for the young patients of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children.
The yearly tradition started about 7 years ago, and since, has expanded to include business associates, clients, friends, and family who all gather to uplift the holiday season for children and families facing insurmountable circumstances.
St. Mary’s kids and their families were the honorary guests of the night and as usual, were treated like royalty. It’s the one time of year all patient families look forward to, as it is a time for them to rejoice in the festive season surrounded by loved ones; an opportunity they may not otherwise have.
As the children eagerly arrived at the decorated hall glimmering with holiday ornaments, colorful lights and holiday festivities, Santa and his little helpers made a grand entrance, sending bundles of thrills through the patients.
After the kids danced the night away with Santa by their side and listened to favorite holiday stories, they enjoyed a delicious meal and spent time with close friends and family.
Lillian is an avid supporter of St. Mary’s programs and services and volunteers her time to hang out with St. Mary’s kids, some of the most seriously ill and injured children in the New York region battling complex medical and life-limiting conditions. Her generosity and continuous philanthropic support has helped thousands of children with special needs and their families receive a higher quality of life surrounded by warmth and happiness.
