Over two dozen employees from Nordstrom, Roosevelt Field Mall visited St. Mary’s Hospital for Children to do Halloween-themed activities as part of their Day of Caring project, organized by United Way of Long Island. The Day of Caring is a county-wide day of community service that rallies volunteers from local businesses, organizations and schools to help charities in their area.
The Nordstrom team brought in miniature pumpkins and a pile of story books, and spent the afternoon painting pumpkins and reading stories to St. Mary’s Kids.
