NYPD Brings Holiday Cheer to St. Mary’s Kids

St. Mary Kids celebrated the ‘season of giving’ yesterday with a very special visit from New York’s Finest. Officers and detectives from Brooklyn North Warrant Squad and several other NYPD units including Emergency Services, Mounted, K-9, and Highway Patrol paraded into St. Mary’s bringing holiday cheer and donations from a holiday drive.

The children had a wonderful time engaging with the officers and their four-legged companions. They especially loved interacting with the energetic mascot named McGruff “the-crime-fighting-dog”, Lexington, the majestic stead from the Mounted Unit and Wyatt, an eager dog from the K-9 unit.

Special thanks to each and every police officer who visited with us today.
