St. Mary Kids received a special visit recently from officers from the Brooklyn North Warrant Squad and several other NYPD units including Emergency Services, Mounted and K-9. The police officers brought a large load of gifts for St. Mary’s Kids, and made a generous donation of a large screen TV.
The children had a wonderful time engaging with the officers and their four-legged companions. They especially loved interacting with the energetic mascot named McGruff, Lucky, the majestic stead from the Mounted Unit and Apache, an eager dog from the K-9 unit. The officers also brought along a jolly Olaf.
On behalf of St. Mary’s Kids we would like to offer a special thank you to each and every police officer who visited with us.
