Spidey Gives Back to St. Mary’s Kids

Broadway’s SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is doing its part to support New York’s critically ill and injured children at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children, the City’s only long-term rehabilitation hospital for children and the region’s largest provider of home healthcare to children with medically complex conditions. Throughout the month of June, when guests buy Spider-Man tickets through Givenick, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children.

“We cannot thank our friends at SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark enough – their generosity is simply astounding,” said Jeffrey Frerichs, President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. “It is an honor to be recognized by the Broadway community and we are grateful to Spider-Man in particular for its support of St. Mary’s Kids.”

Earlier in June, cast members from SPIDER-MAN and other popular Broadway shows, along with CBS Radio New York personalities and sponsors, kicked off their month of support for St. Mary’s with “Broadway Rocks Times Square for St. Mary’s Kids” – a free concert in Father Duffy Square.

Cast members Jake Epstein and Christina DeCicco performed some of the show’s most popular songs for St. Mary’s Kids and thousands of visitors in Times Square.

“St. Mary’s incredible staff is made up of real life super heroes who have been treating children with special needs, and their families, for the past one hundred forty years. They do their remarkable work with unrivaled compassion and skill, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to align with them,” said Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris, producers of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark

Children at St. Mary’s are battling complex medical and life-limiting conditions due to serious illness, injury and complications of premature birth. Partnerships such as the ‘Spidey Gives Back’ help bring each of St. Mary’s Kids one step closer toward reaching his or her rehabilitation goals.

To support Spidey Gives Back to St. Mary’s, tickets must be purchased through Givenick.com during the month of June. Remember to designate St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children as the selected charity or go directly to https://givenik.com/show_info.php?show_id=178&show=individual.
