St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children’s SVP Paul F. Maguire, FACHE, Receives Regent Award from Healthcare Leaders of New York

St. Mary’s Healthcare System is pleased to announce that Paul F. Maguire, FACHE, Senior Vice President of Administration and Administrator of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, is the recipient of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Regent Award from Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY). The award was presented at the recent 2014 HLNY Annual Gala and Awards Presentation.

HLNY represents professionals who manage the business affairs of healthcare organizations throughout the New York Metropolitan area. The Senior Level Healthcare Executives ACHE Regent’s Award recognizes affiliates who are experienced in the field and have significantly contributed toward the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of the goals of ACHE. Candidates are evaluated on leadership ability, innovative and creative management, executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community, contributions to the development of others in healthcare profession, leadership in local, state, or hospital and health association activities.

Mr. Maguire joined St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children in 2012 as Administrator of the organization’s pediatric inpatient facility, which provides intensive rehabilitation, medical care, and education to children with special needs and their families. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Empire State College, SUNY Old Westbury and his M.A. in Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in New York State.
