St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Center for Children “Tops Care” in Lower Hudson Valley Area According to Recent Survey

Region’s Largest Provider of Intensive Rehabilitation Receives 5 Stars in all Categories

According to a recent survey featured in The Journal News, St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Center for Children received five stars across the board for the overall care of its patients, deeming the Ossining rehabilitation center as one of the top medical care facilities in the Lower Hudson Valley region and surrounding areas including Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Counties.

The five-star rating system complied by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, concluded its results based on the careful analysis of 5 different categories which included a survey of the frequency and severity of care deficiencies and how well the organization responds to correcting problems, health and quality of life for patients and residents, evaluation of total staffing available per patient day, evaluation of staff provided by RNs, and finally, the overall combined score based on the review of the other ratings.

Amongst over 50 rehabilitation centers and nursing homes in Lower Hudson Valley, the region’s largest provider of intensive rehabilitation was the only organization to receive five stars in each category, portraying the dedication and commitment of the hospital’s staff towards improving the overall quality of life for patients and their families.
