Bronx Zoo Mask Policy

Masks are required for your visit. Consistent with NYC/State and CDC guidance, masks are required for rides and all indoor areas for all guests over the age of 2 years, regardless of vaccination status. Unvaccinated guests over the age of 2 years are also required to wear a mask at all outdoor areas where social distancing cannot be maintained. Face coverings remain optional for vaccinated guests in outdoor areas. Please note: Vaccination will be required for all guests 12+ to enter indoor exhibits. Guests will be checked upon entry of the zoo, and given an indoor exhibit access wristband in addition to ours.

Special Guests

This year we will be honoring community leader and a true friend of St. Mary’s Kids, Robert Heicklen. Robert has been a consistent presence in the lives of the children at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children and has been a leader in St. Mary’s fundraising, including participating annually in the Big Hearts Walk.

To honor the courageous children that we walk for every year, eight of St. Mary’s Kids have been selected to lead our Walk as Grand Marshals: Alessia, James, Adalynn, Sam, Easton, Gabriel, Adiv and Noah.
