On September 27, 2025, St. Mary’s Hospital for Children proudly hosted the Medically Complex Pediatric & Young Adult Conference in partnership with the New York DeafBlind Collaborative (NYDBC). The event was a resounding success, bringing together families, professionals, and advocates for a full day of education, collaboration, and community building.
Attendees heard from a diverse lineup of speakers covering topics such as complex care resources, special education, home care, caregiver support, and disability advocacy. Highlights included the immersive DeafBlind experience, a powerful parent panel through Project DOCC, and sessions focused on supporting siblings and caregivers.
